Introduction
Launcher is a platform that lets you deploy and manage applications on bare metal servers you own — with cloud-grade developer experience, zero-trust security, and no vendor lock-in.
Key Features
- Own Compute — Run on dedicated servers you control, not shared multi-tenant infrastructure.
- Cloud DX — Git push to deploy, automatic TLS, managed databases, and a dashboard to manage it all.
- Zero-Trust Security — Every connection is authenticated and encrypted. No open ports, no VPNs.
- No Vendor Lock-In — Standard containers, standard tooling. Move your workloads anywhere.
How It Works
Launcher consists of a control plane (hosted) and agents that run on your servers. The control plane orchestrates deployments, manages configuration, and provides the API and dashboard. Agents connect outbound to the control plane — your servers never need to expose inbound ports.
You bring your own servers from any provider (OVH, Hetzner, bare metal, VPS — anything with SSH access), connect them to Launcher, and deploy your applications.
Next Steps
- Getting Started — Set up your first server and deploy an app.
- Architecture — Understand how the control plane and data plane work together.
- Servers — Learn how server management works.
